The camp host was very helpful and friendly. The park was clean and we'll kept. Our stay was great.
Great campsites with spacing. Two to three bars Internet. No TV. Nice showers and bathrooms. Looks like a good fishing lake. Showers are cold. Killed two recluse spiders: need to be sprayed with Miss Muffet's Revenge.
I had a wonderful week long stay at Tall Chief Cove. The campground was clean and well kept. The gate keepers were nice and made rounds every few hours to check on things. During the week it was very quiet and on the weekend almost every campsite was full and lots of kids running around. If you book site C53, bring at least 100ft of water hose (100ft was stretched pretty tight), or fill up your holding tank before you come.
Our normal fall camp out plans were changed, so we decided for a couple nights at Tall Chief. We had a great time. We really enjoyed it. It had been many years since I'd camped there.
Great place to spend the day or the weekend.
